i'm quite glad today is friday!
what do you plan to do with the first real weekend of 2011?
my plans for the weekend include...
*visiting the guelph farmer's market*
which i haven't been to in over three weeks
(i miss it!)
*frolicking in our beautiful new blankets of snow*
...maybe i'll even build a snowman...
*making a homemade soup with my new immersion blender*
(and of course, baking a loaf of bread to go with it)
*reuniting with local friends*
to hear all about holiday adventures over a drink or two.
whatever you're up to,
i hope you have a lovely weekend!

a trip to the farmers' market and homemade soup sound like the essentials for a great weekend! ENJOY!
ReplyDeletehope you have a wonderful weekend, meg! also, since you asked about the roasted veggies... I don't have a recipe, but my tips would be: cut all your veggies the same size so they roast evenly, coat them with olive oil and pepper and salt, and bake them on a high heat (around 400) for about 20 minutes to get those nice brown edges. hope that helps :)
ReplyDeletenice way to build energies for weekend=) i hope you get a chance to fulfill all you have planned.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how I stumbled onto your blog, but I love it!

Sounds like a fun weekend! So far I just spent the night playing board games with the fam while watching the football game. I have no idea what I'll be doing tomorrow.
