i hear music.

happy monday!

this week involved the setting up of our christmas tree

(twice, since the first time morty knocked it down)

and decking our halls with our small

(but slowly expanding)

collection of christmas decorations.

our stockings (plus a new mini one, for mort!)

my beautiful angels (some holding candles, some on the tree)

wreaths & door decorations

all went up,

accompanied by many

hot apple ciders & eggnog hot chocolates,

 tchaikovsky's nutcracker suite

and vince guaraldi's a charlie brown christmas

i sadly realized that my collection of christmas albums

is even smaller than my collection of christmas ornaments,

(we have a vintage techniques record player

and paul's veritable collection of records,

but no holiday vinyl!)

and i am determined to find some amazing holiday records

during our record-finding trip next week to toronto.

it's now less than two weeks until we travel home

and i'm starting to feel the excitement...
