exploring our new neighborhood!

 on saturday we trekked into downtown toronto

to sign our lease (yay!)

and i took the opportunity to explore

the gorgeous downtown streets in the area

and i was delighted with what i found...

~lovely & crazy-busy st. lawrence market~

we visited the st. lawrence market,
a ten minute walk from our new flat.
it was so fun & bustling, it reminded me of
the granville island market in vancouver.

we found a quiet little cafe
a few blocks away
that seemed to be a totally different world
from the craziness of downtown.

we took some time away from everything
and enjoyed what will soon be our rooftop patio...
it has some amazing views of downtown toronto
and i can't wait to sit up there
with barbecued dinner & a bottle of wine
on a warm summer night.

and it made me even more excited to move
