i can hardly believe we're already a full month into 2011.
when i was reflecting &
thinking of my intentions for this year,
i decided that 2011 is going to be a year of action.
and already it is...
i'm excited to announce that february begins
the training for my first
half marathon!
i'll be running in the toronto waterfront half marathon
on sunday, october 16th, 2011.
running this distance is an idea that i've played with
for a few years now,
but truthfully i've been a little scared
(or lacking the faith in myself)
to fully make a commitment.
it was a little nerve-wracking making my registration official,
but i feel so amazing and excited.
i can't wait to get outside and start running for real again!
if only we weren't on the eve of a snowstorm,
and hanging out in -10C weather...
i guess i'll have to get used to it!
ps...
"running is a big question mark
that's there each and every day.
it asks you, are you going to be a wimp
or are you going to be strong today?"
