a year of change.

last january started peacefully,

as paul & i spent a quiet day lounging

before i went back to a job i was less than enthused about.

in february, i worked on loving myself a little more each day

and we took an amazing trip to a magical group of islands.

march came and we celebrated our dating anniversary for the last time

(since now we have a wedding anniversary to celebrate).

i ended a friendship that wasn't healthy

and found out how devastating it could be as i tried to find closure.

april brought excited plans for summer

and may was a most amazing month which marked

the successful defence of paul's masters thesis

and the beginning of a beautiful marriage for my brother and his wife.

in june i reflected on the amazing women in my life

and reawakened my love for the smell of something baking.

i learned italian in july

and spent much needed time outside & with friends.

august brought our amazing first anniversary weekend,

and time spent in victoria saying goodbye to loved ones.
we welcomed a gorgeous new addition into our family,

took an amazing west coast roadtrip

and embarked on a crazy cross-country move to start a new life.

in september we met mortimer 

(the new love of our lives)

and biked around town on our shiny new raleighs.

october was my first (successful!) attempt at a turkey dinner

and our first opportunity to get a little more acquainted with the big city.

i celebrated one of my best birthdays ever in november,

and promised that 26 is the year i'm going to do great things.

i cultivated my love for a local lamb farm

and enjoyed our first eastern snowfall.

december was a very busy month

of birthday adventures

and preparations for a visit to the west coast to see family & good friends.

2010 was a year of finding myself

as i grew more accustomed to

marriage

a lack of schoolwork

a new town

and a freedom to decide what i want to do with my life.

i feel like i've learned a lot about who i am,

and 2011 is going to be a year of action

as i pursue and hopefully begin to accomplish some of the things

i've been dreaming about for the past year.

i'm feeling very ambitious,

and tomorrow i'll post my intentions for 2011!
