a lovely color

did you know that each year has an official color?

(well, in canada it's an official colour, but whatever...)

pantone has declared 2010 the year of turquoise!

now, i'm excited because turquoise is pretty much my favorite color...

i've loved shades of blue since before i was old enough

to realize that colors had shades.

(you can probably tell by looking at the photos in my sidebars)

my home is accented everywhere with shades of turquoise

... i think it's a lovely, rich-looking color.
