have a lovely weekend!

whew! i'm back.

here's just a quick note to say hello!

we were welcomed home with a pile of mail at the door,

family and friends to call

(it turned out we didn't even have cellphone reception

where we were, so we were extremely isolated)

and over 250 emails in my inbox (yikes!)

we were also greeted by that lovely vancouver rain

and the promise of making a cozy feel-good dinner of

chicken & mushroom fettucine alfredo

and several movies bundled under blankets on the couch.

i also want to say a special hello to all my new followers

i'm so glad to have you here!

i hope you all have a wonderful weekend,

and i'll write again on monday

once my head stops spinning

and i get used to being back in a world with

electricity

hot showers

flushing toilets

and

stoves you don't have to light with a match.
