since 2010, i have become increasingly aware of how the way we eat affects others who share our planet. because of this, i began adapting my lifestyle towards a more mindful, local way of eating. this involved trying to eat with the seasons (no peaches in december!) and getting all of our weekly groceries from local farmers at the st. lawrence market. in 2012, i made the decision to stop eating meat, and soon afterwards made my diet fully plant-based. i cook a lot from the many amazing vegan cookbooks that make up my collection (see below for links to a few of my favourites), but will often modify recipes (especially non-vegan recipes to make them vegan, or sugar-laden recipes to make them healthier!) or create new ones, so here is a collection of the recipes i have posted on pure happiness.
